Randi served as a Neighborhood Watch Area Coordinator, helping residents stay connected, share safety information, and strengthen neighborhood awareness.

Randi served as a City of Manhattan Beach Library Commissioner, supporting the library as a welcoming civic and educational resource.

Beach Crime Prevention

Hosted and produced a beach crime prevention program created with the Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Redondo Beach police departments for more than 10 years.

Served as a Victims Assistant (1990–2003), co-created the On-Scene Victims Team, and earned Team Member of the Year and Volunteer of the Year honors. The team’s work received federal recognition in Washington, D.C.
